She is four years old. Her aunts are younger.
I already have a granddaughter. And i am just on my mid-30's. Actually, it is my sister's, so that makes me a "lola" or granny too. Lol. Her name is Elliria.
When Elliria was told that the 3-year old she was playing with at first is her aunt, she was confused. Her playmate is my brother's daughter--her father's cousin.
So, she is older and her aunt is younger.
Now, with cutie Sophie who is just 8 months (today), she will be more.confused. haha
She will get used to it. Hopefully. Lol.

What fun, it will work out as she grows, my husband grew up with an uncle that is the same age as he is.

Your nephew or niece must have gotten married real early to make you a grandaunt in your 30s. I think getting the family tree right is least of a concern for kids. I'd just let them address each other by their names.
