Passers by have no manners

Wish I had it pictured but I went outside last night and saw one of our tenants water meter covers had bubble gum on it!
This morning when I throw our garbage I removed it with a Tissue. I know there are times people tend to just throw it like the way they want to, but this is just disgusting.
Like that bunch of people and their father i think sits on the tenants bench like a monkey eating their junk food and leave it there when they left.
Though we have a village janitor or eco aide here that cleans up every morning, but that has put us to shame. Because if not me, most people just lack discipline in taking care of their trash, even the little ones.

This happens in the US a lot too, especially, it seems, in some of the poorer neighborhoods. I've literally watched teens eating McDonalds food walking down the street and then throwing the empty bag or cup over their shoulder onto the sidewalk.

That's just horrible, @TheHorse what the hell happened to discipline. You know what's even worse, I did it once and i felt guilty because I was becoming like those jerks. but it's a good thing some vendors here have trash bins were i could throw those consumed goods.
I dealt with these trash everyday but never thought some one would do something like that.

People who can't practice basic consideration are indeed no different from monkeys. Dirtying public benches and sticking gum on the water meters of others is gross and despicable. I'm sorry for the other residents and your eco aide.

Some times I don't feel offended anymore but sulking on the truth when people would call some of us monkeys simply because of this alone. @Ladypeace

Fortunately, the tenants do clean their place in the morning and throw their trash at night. it's those passers through the side walk who just couldn't help themselves. @Shavkat wished to save money for a cctv so that i would know who throws here and there.

Even if we put the gardbage bin there, they will just do it anyway. in fact, some would put their trash our bin instead.

I understand you how you feel. If I am in your shoes, I felt the same, I felt bad and disgusted when most people now have no discipline, even in small things, why on earth that someone put a bubble gum in one of your meter covers? What's the purpose of putting it there? Maybe some drunkards put it there.

It doesn't matter, @ida123 they really don't have manners and it has frustrate me to the point of making this post. well, before that some of them removed the covers and now its hard to put them back together.

I have a grown family member that to this day, she still puts her chewing gum up someplace (like the bed post) to save for the next day...gross!
