John Kasich For Vice President

Donald Trump said he wants a "political person" to be his running mate. After watching one of the debates, I think the best running mate may be standing next to him, and his name is John Kasich. Governor Kasich has remained calm during all of the foolish trash talk going on in the campaign. He has a solid record in government both at the national and state level, and he would be extremely useful in the White House. Also, he will help Trump win in Ohio and the swing states in the Midwest. What do you think? Is Kasich a good choice for Vice President

Like Carson, he hasn't descended into the adolescent vulgarity and that does speak volumes in his favor. Unfortunately Carson, for all his educations, has some nutty ideas.
None of the candidates on either side of the aisle excites me. I can see myself writing in Sanders if all else fails.

He is decent for a politician and exceptional for the Republican party. I could live with him being Trumps replacement after he gets impeached.......for when Trump gets elected President in the hypothetical world.

I have a suspicion the VP slot is what Kasich is angling for. He refuses to get into mudslinging or attack Trump. I don't care for him but he would bring that balance of experience and calm demeanor. You are right Kasich would help in the Midwest where Trump is weak.
