My Advice For Democrats

I am not a Democrat, but I work with a lot of them, and some ask me for my political opinions. Recently I had a conversation about the election, and who my friend should vote for President. I advised him to vote for Hillary Clinton and not Bernie Sanders. I believe Bernie Sanders has a foreign political philosophy that does not fit into the American Poltical Tradition. He is a Democratic Socialist who is appealing to young people. The problem is that America is a land of freedom and opportunity, and the American People are rugged individualists. Sanders policies will raise taxes, limit economic freedom in America, and probably will eventually infringe on our political and civil rights. He appeals to young people by offering a free college education, which the rest of us will have to pay for. He does not have much economic expertise, limited experience developing jobs for people, and the economy probably would not expand under his leadership. I believe he will be giving out college degrees to young people who will not be able to find jobs, and will just stand in line waiting for an opportunity. This will be a miserable future for our young people who need opportunities to establish their careers. Hillary Clinton is much more realistic and has a much better chance of being a successful President. What do you think? Who is your candidate, Clinton or Sanders?

I respect your opinion, but nothing is free. I wish Democrats would phrase things better like Republicans. They can make going to war sound like we are out for a picnic. That is why so many people continue to vote against their own interest because they are great at twisting bad ideas. My opinion of course. I just think either way people are going to have to pay in the long run. You either invest in young people or continue the trend we are now with the middle class shrinking and more people becoming homeless. Which in the end the tax payer still foots. It is all just a matter of efficiency which in turns decides how satisfied or angry people are with the system overall.

I agree. I would take Clinton in a heartbeat over Bernie. People are so upset over Trump and think he would destroy the country or whatever. Have they listened to Bernie? The man who never held an honest job and has been a radical activist all his life while sponging off the government one way or another and whose campaign platform is It's free! This guy is Obama times a 100. That said, I give Bernie credit for being a true believer while Clinton is self serving only caring to make history and acquire personal power and glory.
