The Denver Post on Friday reported the news that free agent to be quarterback Brock Osweiler, 25, has been offered a three year contract that will pay just over $12 million yearly.
Mike Kils of Denver NBC television station KUSA reports the new contract will pay Osweiler a salary of $15 million dollars for three seasons on Saturday.
Osweiler's four year contract expired at the end of the 2015 football season. Osweiler can enter the free agent market on Wednesday afternoon unless he signs his new contract to remain with the defending Super Bowl champions before the start of the 2016 football season.
Current Denver Broncos starting quarterback Peyton Manning who has not made his decision whether to play another season in the National Football League or retire after winning his second Super Bowl ring in Super Bowl 50 is likely to be released by the Broncos before the start of the 2016 football season since the Broncos want to start a new era with Osweiler or another quarterback before the start of the 2016 football season.
Osweiler played in seven games for the Broncos during the 2015 football season while Manning was recovering from a football injury. Osweiler won five games and lost two as the Broncos quarterback during the 2015 football season as the replacement quarterback for Manning.

A lot of my Broncos friend's were calling for him even while Manning was still playing. Then as the playoffs neared, it was like "see ya Brock."

At least Brock did do his job of winning games during the regular season until Peyton came back from his injury.

@Deepizzaguy - Oh, without a doubt. He deserves as much credit as Manning for getting them to the playoffs.

I wonder why Manning is dragging his feet about deciding. Would he actually go to another team?
