I know it's a bit late now to discuss about it but boy finally Leo wins his very first Oscar award that has been so elusive for the past years for him. I really admire him because he is really a great actor and he kept on improving on his craft. After winning the award, he didn't even talk about the hardships that he encountered to win the award, instead he talked about climate change and encouraged people to act on it to help stop the problem. What an unselfish person. Congratulations to him for being a humble and incredible person!

Imagine all the crazy roles he accepted in the past just to win an Oscar and all it takes for him to win it is to play a badass that fights a bear.

@silvermist I didnt mean crazy in a derogatory way. When I say crazy I mean challenging roles. You get my statement out of context.

I remember how upset some people when he lost with Blood diamond despite of the fact he played a very challenging role with South African accent with flying colors.
Heck there is even an outrage when he lost as Jack from Titanic. Decades of losing over and over again and he finally have it. Perseverance paid off.
