Mary Kay Cabot who is a reporter for the Cleveland .com on Monday said the Cleveland Browns are interested in signing free agent wide receiver Marvin Jones to a contract. Jones became a free agent at the end of the 2015 football season when his current contract expired. Jones has no interest in taking a pay cut to remain with the Bengals before the start of the 2016 football season since he will be in demand to be paid his market value on the free agent market. Jones was a second round draft choice of the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2012 National Football League Draft out of the University of California. Jones did not play in any football games for the Bengals during the 2014 football season due to foot and ankle injuries that kept off the field. If the Browns are able to sign Jones away from the Bengals, Jones will be reunited with his former offensive coordinator Hue Jackson who was hired by the Cleveland Browns on January 13, 2016 to replace Mike Pettine who was relieved of his duties on January 3, 2016 after two season of coaching the Browns. Jones as a free agent can play for a football team that is contention to make a playoff run or go play football for his former coach Hue Jackson even though the Browns have not made the playoffs since 2002.

@Deepizzaguy At least they have Hue Jackson. I thought the Raiders got rid of Hue way too soon when he was their coach.
