No One Disrespects Me

The tears ran down her face as she listened to the words come through the phone. "He is telling everyone your business along with telling people he is sleeping with you!", she held her breath as her friend kept rolling on about how many people knew of the story. She sobbed uncontrollably after the call ended because she knew it ended the relationship with her friend. The kid said there were pictures to prove what she did with him and it was not true. Her heart was broken. She began to get mad. She pondered what to do next. That night she dressed in all black and walked down to the nearest bar where the liar hung out after work. She went in and he was sitting at the bar having and great time. She sat next to him, said hello, and ordered a drink. His face lit up with a smile of disbelief. The bartender carded her but she didn't have her identification card with her. She leaded over and asked if he wanted to go smoke a cigarette outside, all part of the plan. He took a gulp of his beer and stood up, she stood up and followed him out. He opened the door and began to pull out his half empty pack. As he let the door go he used that same hand to capture the lighter out of his left pocket. He flicked the flint and raised the flame to his lips as he turned to talk to her. He never made eye contact with her eyes, only her fist before he fell back on the ground. She stood over him and told him that if her name ever left his lips, he will not be walking home for a long while. "No one disrespects me", she reminded him and put out his cigarette on his cheek.

@BarefootWriter lol sometimes they are necessary some people take things too far you slap they retaliate and punch you and it keeps escalating til someone ends up in hospital instead of hit and hit back and leave it at that.

Wow she is one tough cookie! I understand her anger. Anybody would've gotten angry if someone disrespected them. The only difference is I would've gone about solving the issue a whole different way. As I'm not a violent person I would found a different way to deal with the issue. I think if you wrote a different post explaining more of the story, it would help us understand more about their relationship. Other than that great story! I'm a writer also and enjoy writing short stories. Best of luck, Fransmonlot
