There are always two sides in a coin and so does our planet earth when we are seeking for opinion about it. On one hand, the earth is full of beauty when looking from the outer space and it really looks like a big blue marble. However, when we look closer, the world is full of pollution and it really damaging this earth. Is it too late to do pollution control and environmental protection ? Or it is not too late to do so since together we will make a better world as many slogan made by those humanistic organization which always say that. Frankly speaking, I am not sure and I think I just ask for your opinion then. Share with us ?

God made the earth to exist forever and gave it the amazing power of repairing itself. So, even though humans as a whole are ruining the earth, long before it would reach a critical point Revelation 11:18 would take place. "... The time has come for ... destroying those who destroy the earth.” (New International Version)
Jesus said that ' the meek would inherit the earth' and they will not inherit an uninhabitable planet. We have reached a situation similar to how it was before Noah's flood and so soon something similar will take place. The wicked will be destroyed and the righteous will inherit the earth to take proper care of it.

I think that as time goes on, planet earth is actually getting worse. With the advancement of the human species in the many fields of science, we actually contribute to some crisis the earth is having (pollution, radiation, man-made viruses, etc.). Just notice our climate, climate change is happening even if we aren't aware of it. So, let's put importance on the little things we do to make our planet clean and green as we sustain it's beauty. That's just my opinion though. Kudos~!

I think there are both sides as you say.
Some of the destruction of our planet is appalling.
On the other hand, some of the discoveries are wondrous.
Logically, I do not see how mankind will survive himself, if there is not some extreme intervention.

The pollution, resource depletion and risk of climate-change are big negatives, but the world is getting better in many other ways. Although it doesn't seem like it from reading the news headlines, there is more equality, freedom and peace than at any other time in history. Still a long way to go though.

The planet is getting worse for one simple reason: too many people.

It is never too late to get the best for everyone. Even people with terminal illnesses enjoy the last days of his life doing the best for themselves. Regarding the planet we can do many initiatives, but until the man is not re-educated in environmental conservation, and all efforts will never take effect.
