Okay, so I've always been attracted to stories in which the characters possess superhuman abilities not seen in the real world. If you could suddenly be one type of person, which would you choose? I'd also like to know why...
1. WIZARD from the Harry Potter universe
2. JEDI from the Star Wars universe
3. SOUL REAPER from the Bleach universe (anime/manga)
4. SHINOBI from the Naruto universe (anime/manga)
If you ask me, people in each universe have such amazing abilities. I'd give my answer, but I don't wanna influence your choice. Maybe I'll post my answer in a few days, once I get a few comments.

no clue about soul reape or shinobi so I guess that leaves me with the Jedi and Wizard. Being a wizard would be cool.

They all take too much training, and unless you are super loaded with reiatsu you'll never achieve bankai as a shinigami, and that's where the fun is. Shinobi takes years of testing and dedication to the arts. No guarantee you'll be more than a fall guy and if you accidentally wound up as a Jinchuriki you'd be suffering. Jedi is pretty cool, but I think the numerous star systems would get overwhelming. Besides, I'd be completely on the dark side. So I guess I'm leaning towards the wizard side of things, but with better fashion and sense of self.
I guess I'd be a dark wizard but with the understanding of my science background I would be trying to combine the two worlds. Nothing like a magical technological dark wizard! (And yes, the technology would be shielded from the effects of magical fields that make it go screwy. It would be absorbing that dissonance and using it as an energy source.)

Soul Reaper or Wizard, though I think I prefer Wizard from Howl universe.

Wizard. The ability to change into things, move objects and manipulate life as we see it, would be awesome.

With what I know, you also basically described the Naruto universe...
Changing into things = Transformation jutsu
Move objects... Well, some characters use summoning scrolls (don't think there's a max limit), so no need to pack a bag, especially if you're transporting battle supplies
