This is Why I Almost Hated my Boss

“A Boss is someone who comes early when you are late and comes late when you are early.” This is a funny quotation I think many employees can relate to this. I experienced this situation several times when I was still working and most times I almost hated my Boss only to realize I had only myself to blame. Do you have same experience or other funny quote that came true to your life?

I am glad I didn't experience to have such bosses before. My ex-boss didn't really mind what time we reached the office, or left the office, as long as we got our work done. I guess he trusted us as we are mature enough to know what our responsibilities are. If we had work to do, we always volunteered to stay back in the office to get the work done. If the job was not too urgent, he always asked us to go home early (on time).

@salonga Yes, I always think I was blessed to have such a good boss. He's a family man, so he always understands and asks us to go home and accompany our family. I think he is smart enough to make us work willingly and hard for him as well. As he treated us well, so we didn't mind to work extra hard for him.

That's funny , and so that happened to you in real life . Luckily , my bosses always comes in late . My lady boss would always early though , because she has to send of his son to school at 7 . But , she isn't with us at our office , but in her other office at the third floor . My other boss , the half French /half Filipino , he comes in at about 2:00 p.m. but would go back to the hotel where he resides and he is the general manager , late though . He just leave the signed documents on my tray .

Oh lucky lucky you! My Boss was always intentionally coming early sometimes to catch the latecomers and I hated it when I was one of the latecomers because I was actually her right hand and I was like a bad example to the other employees.

@salonga I always managed to be punctual while I was working. But my friend could easily relate to this.Actually almost always she arrived on time. Whenever she was late he will be there to admonish her.But on all those days she came very early and attended to her work he came late and knew nothing about her coming early.

When I worked, my manager was great but it was the senior manager who was awful. Everyone called her little Hitler because she was so mean and strict. I am so glad that I no longer work and have to put up with her.

So, in a sense, such kind of Boss challenges the employees to be punctual lest they get caught and get fired soon.

@salonga I never had to worry about getting fired. My point is that I put in more time than my boss so I'd always be ahead of the game (prepared). She never knew the long hours I put in, but loved my work.
