One thing i hate about cooking is deciding what to cook. It is almost 11AM now and by 12 .30 i should have lunch ready for the little one at school. Until now i have no idea what to prepare. I might end up buying ready made food

That's the best remedy for those who are undecided on what to prepare on the foods for their meals, buy a ready made one from the restaurant or any food chain.

either i get it burned or i get cut by a knife so i kind of give this up a long time ago.

I hate when I can't think of something to cook. I will just do something simple like mac and cheese or burgers etc.

@Missmwngi yes actually even before your finished breakfast, you think already what you cook for lunch and even before you finished lunch you think of what to cook for dinner. It is a routine we goes through each day.

Deciding what to cook is sometimes tougher than cooking itself. Moreover if you cook daily, then it needs lot of thinking and if you like variety in food, then it needs even more thinking.

Thats so true. I cook almost daily and i can testify it is so tough. I settled on rice though

Why don't you make up a weekly list for lunches and that way you know what to cook for that day.

I love cooking and I dont even plan my meals, I just cook what I am craving. It is a different case with a mother though since you will want something nutritious but the kids will love.
