Two people

Two people are walking in the rain under a red umbrella. They cross over a yellow bridge, and they enter a blue building together. They spend the night in the blue building, knowing full well that one is the father of the other one's son. When they leave in the morning, they go about their separate business. How are these two people related? Why do they spend the night in the blue building...what is it? First correct answer gets a positive response from me.

I was thinking they were husband and wife, but what threw me was that they went about there separate business. It made me think the two of them were not close and possibly never conversed again.

No, they are man and wife, and they are sleeping in their blue house!! Sorry. Good try though.
