Do you think it’s okay to use cellphones when you’re at the movies with others? Is it rude to answer your phone when the movie is on? How’d you feel if you were at the movies, and suddenly, your moviemate’s phone rings. Do you get on your phone immediately after, or do you stare at the screen full of emotion until the ring goes off? Leave your thoughts, below!

Beyond rude. Honestly, can't people survive without their cell for 2 hours? It's nonsense that every single message is of earth shattering importance. I say to those people, you obviously want to spend your life with a cell permanently affixed to your ear so why are you here?

Yes, it's rude and most movie theaters have signs up to silence your cellphones.

My phone is silent when in a movie house. I dont want distraction from seeing my favorite movie.

I don't answer my cell phone, that is disrespectful. I always keep it on silent. I have kids so if the phone call was about them I would answer it in the bathroom, but still not in the theater.

I silence my phone when I am at the movies and think it is terribly rude to leave your ringer on, answer your cell phone, or text while the movie is playing.
