Yes I know Sporting CP. Sporting is my favourite team and actually maybe the best portuguese team.
The main colour is the green. Sporting was born in 1906 and since then, Sporting won a lot of national and international competition.
Sporting has one of the best academy in the europe. From sporting football school came players like Figo, Cristino Ronaldo, Simão, Quaresma, Hugo Viana and many others.

I think lots of people know Sporting CP, we were finalists of UEFA cup, 2 years agor agains CSKA Moscow.
Ricardo, our goalkeeper was ellected the 7th best in the world.
We must be in the top 5 or top ten of the best academy in the world.

Sporting Lisbon plays in green and white stripes and Cristiano Ronaldo played there before moving to Man Utd...

Good to see someone from so far away knowing something about our team. Do say, do you get to see any matches of portuguese league around there in India or not really? Maybe of other leagues?..

You are looking at her. Sou socia....uma leoa coroa. I have been a fan of Sporting for almost 10 years. My reason for choosing Sporting over Benfica and Sporting is that I met a met Keita when we were staying at the Tivoli Jardim in Lisbon....we arrived in Portugal at the same tiem. He went to live in Monte Estoril and I in Cascais (1976). We used to meet in the Casino or on the street and he would always make it a point to say hello. When I became a soccer fan and I had to choose a team to support it was his friendship that made me choose SCP. Also i HATE RED. Green is a much prettier color. I have not met any of the newer players. My favorite is João Moutinho. He is experienced beyond his 20 years. SCP has formed my Portuguese players that have been highly successul in other European countries than either Benfica or Porto. It is considered one of the best training academies in the world as you know. I could go on but I think that's enought for now. Spoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorting. So eu sei porque fico in casa......Only I know why I stay at home for those who don't speak Portuguese.

I am a supporter since I could walk :) Best football team in the world for sure, and I believe we'll be champions this season ;)
