How long have you ever been without anything to eat?

No I am not talking about water. That is all too easy to find. But sometimes food can be real hard at times under extreme conditions. Tell my your story about your experience with going without any food. I know some people who were on the streets for a time and finding food was their highest priority next to finding shelter.
I once had crackers and mayonnaise packs with ice water for lunch two straight days for lunch when I first went to work as a checker at a Skaggs Alpha Beta supermarket until my first pay check.

@lookatdesktop It was tough situation to be in, but when you have people around who are going through the same pain, it motivates you to fight more.
that experience certainly made me mentally tougher and stronger.

The furthest I went was about 24 hours, when I was about 18 or 19 during the late 70's, when me and my buddy got lost in Mt.Makiling, Philippines we decided to explore instead of taking the usual tested and proven trail, good thing we found our way back to camp. The experience taught me a lot of things that i could later apply in life

I bet you look back on that time and are glad you did because taking the road less traveled builds character.

That is what happens, nausea and upset tummy. Sometimes it's good to have a snicker's bar handy and some orange juice to tide you over until you can eat a full meal.
