Late night fights and screams / myLot

What do you do if you hear some fights and screams in your neighborhood when you know that it is a case of domestic violence? Even if you try getting into the house or even building from where these voices are coming out, you are told not to interfere in anybody's family matters. Really?? Should we or shouldn't we?

I feel you should take action of some kind before someone is injured or killed.

I could not just ignore those cries for help. I would call the police especially if there are kids in the house.

I will report the matter to the police. Here in my country, any citizen can interfere even if it's a family problem. We have a law that protects women & children against domestic violence. Also, the fights and screams may be considered as nuisance since they disturb the neighborhood. Report them immediately to the proper authorities.
