Having a friend who has an outdoor pool is a blessing.

I spent an entire summer, after graduation from high school playing billiards in the summer sun room and swimming in the back yard pool. In and out we went, playing some, swimming and getting some sun in. I had made this into an art. My friend's dad sometimes got angry when other people dropped cigarette butts on the ground around the pool while I painstakingly picked each one up and finally put my foot down saying, "You can't come over here to swim if you're gonna smoke or no more pool understood?" They listened, but one day they came by and were so darn drunk that one of them hit his nose on the pool floor after a nose dive into it.

Sounds like a wonderful time for you, and maybe a learning experience, too. I know I watched my high school friends make some stupid mistakes. Live and learn is the best we can all do!

I guess that's a silent punishment. I hope his nose didn't broke.

He was too drunk to feel pain but no his nose wasn't broken just skinned a bit. He took too deep a dive off the diving board that's all. He was lucky and we all were glad he did not suffer any real injuries.

I would be happy to swim everyday, but not get drunk and break my nose.
