Yard Sales and Thrift Stores / myLot

It is getting that . I of year again for yard sales. I have found that one man's junk is definitely another man's treasure. I love looking for unique items and hard to find items at yard sales and thrift stores. I also love to buy clothes at them as well. When you go to department stores and everything is mass produced for the clothes today, they all start to look alike. ( Plus I hate the low rider pants and jeans on the market today.) I love clothes from the 1960s through the 1980s. Who else is a yard sale and thrift store junkie?

I never found anything cool at thrift stores or yard sales ~ but it'd be cool to find vintage stuff!

You may have better luck finding vintage stuff at estate sales. Some can be expensive, but from the ones I have been to, usually someone has a lot of Grandmas costume jewelry and vintage clothes they are just trying to get rid of so they sell them cheap.

I enjoy yard sales and thrift stores when I am able to peruse them without tag alongs.

I understand that. If my grandson is with me he is a handful. Usually my husband and I go to thrift stores about 2-3 times a week. We do not always buy something but it is fun to look.
