Did you know that a bale of hay will burst into flames if it gets wet? Devin is full of useful information. He knows anything that is worth knowing. He can name every dinosaur that ever lived, and knows that it is the brachiosaurus, not the brontosaurus that was the tallest. He let me know that they look the same, but because brachiosaurus’ nose is on his head, he is taller. Devin is five years old, I am three. My mom just had a baby and his name is Dallas. He doesn’t do anything, he just cries. We have cousins too. One day my uncle put snow in his truck and brought it to us. We made a snow man in the front yard. Devin told me to get a carrot for the nose, but all we had was celery. I love celery and I ate it. Our snowman did not get a nose. My dad has a friend who visits us and he can do magic. He does a trick where he just blows on his hat and it flies off his head. Devin says he knows how to do it. He knows everything. Devin even knows the exact spot where all rivers start. They pop out the top of mountains. He makes sure that I understand that this is different than a volcano exploding, and says that rivers stop flowing during an eruption because the lava, also known as magma he tells me, would vaporize all the water. See what I mean? He knows words like vaporize. This means to be totally burned up. This is kind of what happened to the dinosaurs, but their bones stayed behind so we can see them. Devin told me all about that too. He tells me everything. He is my best friend. He is my hero. To be continued...

I am sure you enjoyed the celery more than the snow man would have.
