One of many problem in our country is so many junks plastics cannot recycle and destroy in earth. Used plastics put in the garbage shelter. But the government nothing to do with the rest garbage in the shelter, so the garbage year more years... the garbage made the mountain of garbage then many scavengers trying to find anything for sold again to make a money. Then every year, always made victims to die. This year, the government made the policy that if people make transaction, we must pay two hundred rupiah each plastic. So, every people always bring own plastic for transaction. But, i think this is useless, if we doing transaction in cashier, the buyer just pay two hundreds rupiah, so what?? Plastics still much waste. This is not the solve. I think the government must give solution in the garbage shelter not from the buyer...

I think the government should educate the people to save our world. I know many people will bring along their own bags when shopping.

Making people pay for a plastic bag in the supermarket is a good beginning.

@fchalida I don't know any details but I know that plastic garbage is also recycled. Benches for parks are made of plastic bottles. Also cloth is made for waterproof clothes, anoraks and so on.

@MALUSE i think that is my government problem, the government or other company nothing to do for rest of the garbage plastics. May be if there are any company could receive plastics garbage, and can recycled to another useful product would solve the problem. But there are nothing company like that in my country. Here is in my country, some people used plastics garbage to be another product, but very small percent then the rest garbage.

It may not totally solve it but it could minimize the problem since some buyers would not want to spend additional amount for the plastic.
