For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in. (Matthew 25:35 NIV)
We see Buy One, Get One Free! offers everywhere in shops these days. Often, we don't even need the free item we're getting. But someone else might. Who could you share it with today? Buy one, give one free!
Three Options:
If you're not heading out or money is tight, raid your house. Chances are, you'll find a spare nearly-new toolkit, two copies of the same book or something else you can give away. Ask around on your social networks to see if anyone would like it for free.
Got points on your loyalty card? Why not give them to someone else or use them to get vouchers or gifts to give away?
Head to your local trusted café or corner shop. Put some cash behind the counter and ask them to give everyone’s order for free until the money runs out.
Remember, these are all suggestions and only participate in the third option if you can afford it.

Again, very important words, and very simple yet practical application. The truth is, we as Christians need to heed the words of Christ regarding this, because this is how He intends us to live in relation to Him, and to each other. As Christians, we need to begin to think of this as part of living the Gospel and as intrinsic to an orthodox attitude.
