The next day I was released. I was taken home by one of my mom's friends. The reason she took me home was because all of my friends had to work. But, because I didn't have my pain medicine, even though I wasn't supposed to drive for a few more days, I was back in the car in a bit and picking up my medicine. Now, my whole front of my body was covered with bandages. My chest, that was the reason I got the reduction in the first place, liked those bandages and I was actually not in much pain - for a change. I think it was a week later I had them removed. I have to say, it was a mess. Lots of stitches, staples, red cuts... not attractive... I continued to go to the doctor a couple of times a week, I think it was for follow ups, taking out staples, pulling stitch threads as they worked out. But, about 3 weeks out, he wasn't happy about how a couple of spots were healing - or not healing as the case may be. He decided we needed to do a couple of skin grafts. So, about a month after the first surgery, I was headed back under the knife.
