NFL.com reporter Ian Rapoport on Monday shared the news the Chicago Bears have signed to a two year deal, $6 million dollar contract with $2 million dollars in incentives free agent tight end Zach Miller. The Los Angeles Rams were the other team that was interested in signing Miller to a contract before Miller decided to remain with the National Football Conference North Division team on Monday. Miller, 31, had career highs in touchdowns with five, catches with 34, receiving yards with 439 and yards per catch with an average of 12.9 yards during the 2015 football season. The Bears are likely to trade their tight end Martellus Bennett to another team since they cannot keep both Bennett and Miller on their current roster in 2016. The Bears are hoping that Miller will be healthy enough in the next two seasons to justify signing him to his new contract on Monday.
