Sorry for the strangeness

I know this is kind of strange but... I had never thought about this before, till I overheard someone talking about it. Do you know what happens to the blood after the funeral home does the embalming? They pour it down the drain. That surprised me, you would think with all the diseases out there it wouldn't be safe. They say it's safe, so I guess it is? I'm sorry, I know this is a strange subject, but I'm curious what others think about how they dispose of the blood.

Wow, that is really strange, and oddly, sort of sad in a way...

Well I guess i has to go someplace. I went to school with a girl whose father was a mortician but I never went where they kept the bodies.

I have never thought about it, but that does not sound safe at all. @lilnana1111 , we can only hope that they are careful about it, but, this is unsettling.

Oh wow, I didn't knew that. I've looked it up and they justified it with the blood being safe from infectious diseases because it has been mixed with embalming and disinfectant chemicals.
