Returned the ps3 with our disc inside

Yesterday I returned the playstation 3 because it would not work. It was a busy day and when I packed the box back up I forgot to take the game out that was inside it from when my son was playing it last.
It is a brand new copy of Call of Duty Black ops.
Thankfully I called Gamestop and they found it in the playstation and are holding it for me until I am able to get there again to pick it up. I am not sure when that will be maybe this weekend.

The playstation 3 would not work well. Since they make playstation 4 now they stopped making the playstation 3 so it is hard to find a new one to buy. After the used one worked so poorly I do not want to go that route again. At least I was able to get my money back on the used one. I wish that the playstation 4 could play the playstation 3 games then I would just get them one of those.

Oh no ~ what happened to the play station 3?? So glad you remembered the game was in there ~ and they are nice to hold it for you! What will you do with all the games you bought with no console now?

It just wouldn't work right. The controller kept messing up and the screen would just go black and the only way to get it to play was to restart the playstation by pushing the reset button. I will pick up the game that got left in the player from gamestop this weekend. I will buy a new playstation 3 on amazon or ebay I guess since no stores sell new ones anymore.

@shaggin Oh that's good you can still return it!! I hope you'll find one on Amazon or eBay but maybe if Amazon has a return policy ? So there is some sort of warranty.

Good for them that they didn't take it out. but I wonder what would have happen if you didnt. I wonder if they're going to replace that defective game console or they will repair it or something? hope you get the CD. have a nice day

Well if they had returned it to the factory since it wasn't working correctly I would not have been able to get it back. Thankfully it was just taped up so all they had to do was open the box and check it. I am glad that they are holding it for me. It cost about $20 and we only used it a few times. I will be picking it up tomorrow most likely.
