Day 19 - still crazy

This morning we got up, did the roomie's drops and headed off to the eye doctor. He told her to put the steroid drops in every 2 hours instead of 3 times a day.
When we got back, we put together the crock pot with dinner, from a slow cooker book of a wild rice stuffing and turkey.
Instead of 4 cups of cooked wild rice, that stuff is expensive, we cooked 2 containers of long grain and wild rice and used that instead. We mixed it with a half a cup of craisins and 2 apples that needed to get et. (That's a southern past participle of eat.)
Then her tooth started hurting really bad, so after our little friend came to mop the floors, hard for us to do these days between her lack of vision and my back neck, chest and back, I finished my lunch and took her to the dentist.
Lunch, also known as brunch, was another bowl of the Stroganoff we made on Sunday.
When I got home the young lady was finishing up and about ready to go home. I loaded up a few things for Maggiepie, loaded up her laundry and took the young lady home. The reason I combined the trip was that Maggiepie lives close to where this gal lives.
When dinner finally rolled around, the turkey was just falling apart, but, even though I hadn't put any seasonings in this, the rice is so wonderful by itself, that the dish was excellent. At least I thought so.
The roomie prepared the Brussel Sprouts while I loaded the dishwasher.
I probably should've done it sooner, but I had to wait and see how I felt after I changed the cat boxes. The way my neck has been acting up, I felt I should be extra careful. Especially since the roomie really couldn't help me with the boxes today because of the surgery yesterday.
I suspect I had too many carbs tonight, but at least I didn't have an ice cream cone yesterday like the roomie.

What your roomie had tooth surgery or what El?
I am sorry I am a bit behind maybe?
Dont worry if you had a few extra carbs you and make up tomorrow.
I am about the same but just finding it hard to find food that is not fattening that is within price range.
I think I am going to stop buying ground beef though..
My body seems to not agree with it, whatever is in it.
I remember Maggiepie how is she doing El?
She is not on myLot is she?

She had cataract surgery yesterday. She has a bad tooth, it got filled the day after her previous cataract surgery, but it has been hurting pretty bad off and on, and today it was really bad.
She still has an account, but she lost her password, and I don't know if she's really interested in coming back.
Try ground turkey instead, it can do about anything that beef can, and it might be marginally easier to digest. I'm allergic to turkey too, but not as allergic as I am to red meats.

@TiarasOceanView Ti - I'm allergic to the planet. I'm known to counter one reaction with another. But I'm not as allergic to turkey and chicken as I am to beef and pork. Don't know about lamb, don't get that much anyway. As for fish, well, I haven't had a reaction to any of them that I know of, but if I were to become allergic to fish, it'd probably be tuna...
