They asked me why, i told them it has been my practice.
Today is Friday, it is no meat day.
It has been.my practice when lenten season starts.
When me and my colleagues ate outside, they wonder why i am not choosing any meaty dish. I answered that it is Friday.
Abstinence.
They will say that i am just too much or they will say that why me being into it when some religious people don't.
Will tell them it is my choice and i am not like them.
That is the reason why i tend to stay away from them. Can not just give me respect. As if i am just too be good to be true, a hypocrite.
Oh well...that is their thoughts...not mine. I respect theirs, hoping they will do the same thing for me.
Will give them...just a sigh.
Some can not give us what we are giving them right?

@mythociate All that matters to me is that you eat it.

You should not be judged by what you are eating.

We should respect each others choice to avoid certain foods and practices. We are a vegan and vegetarian household and many think our lifestyle is odd. You know we don't care ;-)

Yup, that's true. Hmmmm
We used to strictly follow that too, when I was younger. We didn't eat meat during Fridays after Ash Wednesday, until Good Friday. But right now, we just abstain during Ash Weds and Good Friday like what one of our priests told us before.
But of course, we respect those who still observe that practice.
