My eldest daughter called me at around 12 midnight crying and telling me that her money amounting to USD$32 was lost in her room. She lives in a boarding house sharing a bedroom with her 2 cousins who are studying in college. She put the money under her pillow in the morning and went to work as OJT (on the job trainee) in my brother-in-law's construction firm. When she returned home, she found out that her purse with the money was gone. Well, no one stays in the room except her 2 cousins. For sure one of them stole it, but they both denied. Well, I told my daughter to pray hard and whoever got the money will definitely receive bad karma soonest. My daughter said that money was given to her by her uncle (the owner of the construction firm) as her 15-days allowance as OJT. She said she will be very careful next time and won't trust her 2 cousins anymore. By the way, she will be finishing her studies this coming June 2016. Photo is my eldest daughter

@Macarrosel , I am so happy to see you here also! You changed your username. Indeed, young people always have to be reminded to keep watch of their belongings. My son is like that too, he is too trusting that nobody will touch his valuables.

I think the best thing one can do these days is use electronic cash or use debit caard. instead of keeping cash all the time. it helps if you buy things on last minute. helps when you have lot of such security issues.

@Macarrosel Ah. I guess it's just timing that happened in that case.

I agree @Skysnap . My daughter has a debit card and an ATM card but she decided not to deposit the money for she is going to travel out of town in the morning and she will use the money for fare and as pocket money.

First of all , let me say you have a very pretty and sexy daughter . As to putting her money under the pillow , it's easy to detect that because most people hides it there . As to the one who got it , i am sure they are now being bugged by their conscience .

I hope they have conscience. My daughter just trust them that she is confident to put her money under her pillow. Now she learns her lessons. Thanks @SIMPLYD for the compliment.

Sometimes, even family cannot be trusted. When I lived on a dorm before, I always keep my money inside the pocket of the clothes I am wearing.

My daughter thought her cousins won't do bad things on her especially stealing money. Now she learn her lessons not to trust anyone even relatives. Yeah, you're right @CaptAlbertWhisker, even family members cannot be trusted.

@Macarrosel I remember the case of the Lotto winner who got killed by his brother. Greed and jealousy can make people forget about family relations.

It's sad if she can't trust her own cousins. Your daughter is beautiful.

Next time, tell your daughter to take extra careful of her money because it's hard to find money nowadays and don't trust anyone.

Thank you @TiarasOceanView . She didn't bring the money to her work for she was afraid that her bag might be snatched and lost her money. But still she lost them .
