Got Frightened by a Snake

While about to go out of our house, I opened the back door and was surprised to see something flashing from my bike at the garage. It was four in the afternoon and the sun was shining so bright that I did not recognize what was that thing that moved.
Then I saw a long snake slithering out of the garage. I was so afraid and had goosebumps as I was stunned watching it cross the street towards the grassy lot nearby.
I thought it liked to feel the "cold" alloy bike because it was so hot that time. Next time I'll take caution when getting out.
Are you afraid of snakes?

Yes, @Marcyaz, now I have proven that my electronic snake deterrent is not efficient! Thanks for your advice, I will be very careful when I go out.

Do be very careful as some snakes are very dangerous and I wouldn't want you to have to go to the hospital.

Yeah, I am afraid of snakes or anything that are long and crawls.

You are brave, @AkoPinay,you can kill small snakes! I can't even look at them! Such phobia!
