These guys are as hard to research as CCCP or MCL. Simply put, I know next to nothing about the Gruesome Twosome, and I've looked everywhere I know to look.
Here is the extent of my knowledge: their song "Hallucination Generation" was released in 1988, and was a 12-inch single--I know this because I've seen it spinning on a club DJ's turntable.
I know that, even though it's not
a goth tune, it packed the dance floor at the two goth clubs I used to frequent. In fact, I'd classify it as industrial light if you have to classify it at all.
I can't tell you who was in the group or anything like that. There is simply nothing about the Gruesome Twosome that I can find. Despite this, "Hallucination Generation" is a top-notch dance tune that doesn't sound all that dated.

I had never heard of them until I asked a DJ who it was. But I've heard nothing since, and have no idea about who they actually are, and I'm usually pretty good at researching band's. Oh well, I at least get to listen to it whenever I want.

Hmm. Never really listened to it that way. Now's a good time (off to get iPod.)

You were not lying. You like a wide range of music. I can respect that. Do like the energy of the song.

Yes, thank you. I've been that way since I was a kid.
