The final story came after the visit to the medical clinic. I limped on back up the hill, everything in that campus is either up a hill or down one and then up again... I got on the shuttle bus to go home. I was sitting toward the back, not my normal place, but it gave me a place to put my foot up on the tire well. As the bus filled up, I was taking up two seats and a gal came and asked to sit with me. I moved over and continued messing with whatever it was I was doing to entertain myself. This happened to include a drawing I had done of an actor, in a role, I liked. I have been obsessed with Illya Kuryakin since I first saw him. Turned out, so had she. We talked, introduced ourselves, exchanged phone numbers, talked about writing - all about The Man From U.N.C.L.E. I'm still friends with her today, this is my friend who moved out to Kerrville this last fall.
