After talking to the City of Dallas and the police I got results.

Dallas, Texas

I was calling in auto accidents like the weatherman gives the daily weather report. One day, our house was ran into by a speeding driver. That was when the final straw happened to break the proverbial camel's back! A tornado tore a new on through Dallas, TX on December 26, 2015. The lights on the street were out and remained out for weeks. Oncor was called but they had a heavy workload. The officer was able to contact the city about the lights being out and the accident at our house. Not only did the street lights get turned back on the very next day but about a month later, the City of Dallas has put up new Signal Lights at the corner where the street has an 'S' - curve where there had been up to 5 serious and some deadly accidents from speeders who did not pay attention to the bend in the road. After months of phone calls and thousands of dollars worth of putting up new street lights that had been regularly ran down by drunken motorists, we now have a controlled intersection that will keep traffic under control and thus reduce cars running up on property and perhaps save a few lives!
