Visita Iglesia

We are commemorating/celebrating the Lenten season and next week the Holy week. As a Catholic, it is a part of the annual traditional celebration. Me and my family tried as much as possible to do some sacrifices during this season.
Today, we are off to have our Visita iglesia or sometimes known Seven Churches Visitation according to wikipedia. We are off to Batangas in a few hours. It a nearby province from the capital of the Philippines Metro Manila. In Batangas, there are quite a number of churches you can visit. Our first stop would be the Shrine of St. Pio Petrelchina in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.
It is one nice church with big land area. They have a relic there of St. Pio and is a very solemn place. We will also visit Our Lady of Mediatrix and other that I have not visited yet.
So, in a while We will be off to Batangas. See you all later.

We once had this Visita Iglesia , when we still haven't sold the car . But now , we just attend the mass on Holy Thursday and do the stations of the cross inside the church too .
