This began the longest 5 weeks of my life to that point. I had to keep it clean and covered while the hole filled in. I had thought my boobs looked like ground meat before, but this hole, even cleaned out and not green and fuzzy anymore, was pretty ugly looking. Day by day, with weekly visits to the surgeon, I watched as this whiteish flesh grew into the hole. In the middle of September, almost 6 weeks after the skin graft, the doctor said it was time to go and do the repair. So, some time in the latter part of September, I was going under the knife, again. to be continued...
