It is an English Style Castle in Mitchell, South Dakota. Tthe dolls are really nice dolls that look like collectibles and expensive. They have First Ladies, Star Trek and your favorite Fairy Tale dolls. Bad news is it seems this museum had now closed but people of South Dakota are hoping that a new Doll Museum will be in the works soon. I am wondering what has happened to all those wonderful dolls.

I'm not a doll collector or anything because some dolls scare the crap out of me but a doll museum would be pretty fun to walk around in. Just to see what sort of dolls have been made.

These dolls I don't see how they could scare anyone as they were beautiful.

maybe the youth isn't interested in dolls anymore or people just don't visit the museum often the way they used to. hope a new one will open some day.

@Letranknight2015 I don't understand why theyclosed it as there is money that some judge in court has to decide where it goes. It seems to be a big mystery.

@jaboUK It seems to be a big mystery surrounding why it is now closed and it is not from lack of funds. I did once a long time ago.

I want to think and hope someone has them and just waiting to display them again in another museum. It would be tragic to think they were gone forever.

@CRK109 It is a really neat looking castle, I have been trying to find out why it closed. I don't know what they would buy it for but it would make a good bed and breakfast, restaurant or something like that maybe.

I played with my brothers in the dirt with cars, and my sisters played with dolls. My mom used to get me dolls but finally when she saw I didn't play with them she stopped buying them.

I wonder... That is a lovely place, shame they don“t revive it, but to fill it with the dolls now would cost a lot I imagine. Would make some little girls dream too.
