Turning a blind eye

I have often noticed that people are so busy in their lives that they turn a blind eye to small little things . Maybe it is your parents unhappiness for you not keeping take care of yourself . Maybe it is your girlfriends or boyfriends saddness as you do not give enough time to them . Why is it happening ..are people more selfish or are they not concerned ?

It does seem like people in general are selfish and after their own goals only. I think everyone should do volunteering or work at bettering the world in a small and local way. It seems like everyone is so busy.

It depends on the person. Some of those people are probably selfish, others are just too focused on something else. Life can be really dynamic so it's hard to pay attention to everything all the time.

I think some people are just not able to express themselves for these small things. May be their actions don't sync with their intentions.

Many times, people are so engrossed in their own matters, they fail to understand what goes around them. We have become self-centered. Sometimes we have enough to deal with. Humans are not perfect. We cannot keep everyone happy. Sometimes it is okay to be a little selfish.
