Eating Stolen Watermelons

When I was a kid there was a big field near our home where rice and watermelon were being alternately planted . This was where I and my playmates fly kites during summertime.
One summer, we saw the big watermelons in the field and we thought it was not bad if we would get some. Anyway there were a lot. So we entered the field and got 3 big watermelons. We feasted happily on the watermelons which were so sweet!
We enjoyed the stolen watermelons a lot so we repeat for few more times. Unfortunately, one time the caretaker of the field came and we were caught in the act. We were reported to our parents and we got spanked and for quite some time were put under "house arrest" for few days and were blocked from going to that field again.

@salonga There is one thing I remember I did alone. I was going somewhere and I spotted a fully ripe mango in a compound that had barbed wire fencing. I put my hand through that barbed wire and picked that mango (lol)

while farmer complaints of us to parents then how we look and we feel like doing guilty and our parents also give some punishment but the thing we enjoy during doing it is most important at that time for us but not for parents....

I remember stealing fava beans from a field. They were so good.

lol Oh yes, we were reported to our parents for eating the wild raspberries in our neighbor's yard. We thought we could since they were wild, but no way!!

Whoaaaa! Hahaha! I have never tried that as a kid, but that must be fun. HIhihihi!
Of course, as a child, we will think that it's okay to have some because there are a lot.
What I have done before when I was a child was, I juggled those eggs at a stall in the market. LOL
The old lady seller asked me not to do that because I might drop her eggs.

It is but natural for kids to do it because it is such an adventure. Yes, we have it too, but not watermelons but citrus fruits!

I was caught doing something not allowed quite often. I remember being spanked just once, the rest of the times (and I can't remember what naughty thing I did), i would be sent to my room and no TV ...
