Why ? When I shop I like to some times have a drink on me I might buy a cold drink first before I start my shopping , If there was a cup holder on there it would be a little easier shopping I have seen people spill coffee on the super market floor and not tell any one that they spill some thing ,If shopping carts had cup holders it can keep the floors safes and less damage coffee and soda can kill a good wax job on the floor. What do you think ?

This will be so inconvenient for the supermarkets, do you know how many people want to steal drinks, being able to walk inside the supermarket with your drink from outside, who say it`s not from the supermarket?
Shopping does not take 5 hours, shop when finished, enjjoy your cold drink

Speak for yourself. I have seen people shop for longer than that. My mom has stayed in the store for 3 hours before.

There a lot of people that bring coffee in
When they shop. The people who shop left will do
It anyway. Most stores today have camera s

A lot of the shopping carts here have them. It annoys me because it makes it tough for both of my kids to ride in the basket together. (Yes, I know how "unsafe" it is... but it's safer for them than having them run amok and pulling shelves down on themselves. I swear everything I've taught them goes out the window when they're together. They're little animals half the time.

A lot of supermarkets here do have cup holders on them. It great when you go to the store and get a slush and don't have to continously freeze your hands off. Inconvenient for a carrier though.
