Is anyone else here seriously OCD about being on time? The one major thing I have anxiety about is potentially being late for a work or volunteer function. So naturally I am always at work 45 minutes early. You can get a lot done in that time. Use the bathroom, make some coffee, putz around with your early coworkers, even come on MyLot like I am doing now. Its more than that though for me. I HAVE to be early. What about you?

Oh my gosh 45 minutes to work wow I barely made it on time when I worked. I am a slow poke. I tend to be late for everything. When my kids were little I was ALWAYS like a half hour late. Now I am better and am usually only about 5 minutes late when I am. I drive people who are punctual nuts.

Yes I'm always on time wherever i go. For work i'm always 10 mins early and same with appointments. If I'm going somewhere with my boyfriend and know we have to be somewhere at a certain time it doesn't work with him. He is always late and we an hour later arriving at our destination. It drives me nuts but i deal with it lol

I will get anxious if I think I will be late, but I will not reach office so early. I will just try to get there 15 minutes early. There was a time when I worked for a company that penalized us for getting late. They said that 2 minutes late was the maximum allowed. If we were 3 minutes late, we would get a deduction of salary of 15 minutes.

That seems over the top! But then again my job is the same way almost....you receive a written warning if you are ONE minute late. Its like really?!

It's about being OCD. Being on time like for a job is a responsibility. That term OCD is tossed out by those who are never on time which has become the norm and to cover their irresponsibility, they accuse a punctual person of being OCD.

Yes that is a prime example to the extreme. 5 am is way early for a 3pm appointment. I will consider myself lucky then. I also dislike that people run late just by their nature. It is irresponsible and probably doesnt reflect well on them as employees.
