Lions on the prowl

Nairobi, Kenya

Did you know that the beauty of Kenya lies within its national game parks? How exciting that one of them is found in the capital Nairobi, the Nairobi National Park. You need to pay a visit if you have not. It drives chills through my spine that a lion was on the prowl last week from the park. Over time, through our local media there have been numerous reports on human and wildlife conflicts. This has been as a result of human encroachment in the wild space. All this is in the name of development. Is infrastructural development an enemy to nature? It is a difficult subject to debate since our country is on the growth pedestal and at the same time the perimeter of our wild parks is reducing significantly. The wild animals will continue scavenging on the domestic animals if the situation is not reversed. Worse of, the cases human attacks by wildlife will keep soaring. Engage me on this subject, any ideas?

Since us humans are encroaching more and more on the animals habitat it is only to be expected they will come out further and further into where us humans are living. I don't know the answer to what is to be done.
