He hasn't napped

It is way past when my 1 year old would take his first nap. We are now almost at the time for his second nap of the day. His daddy is hurting today so he is resting leaving me to 5 kids to care for. Of course our son won't nap even though he is tired. At least he isn't cranky and is just play. But man I hate that he won't take a nap for me in the morning and only his daddy. After noon and bed time he'lol sleep for me with no problem. Many hell snuggle with me in a few minute. He is starting to fuss so I must go. Sleep waits my little love!

@Lazyblogs yes he did. He fought hard but finally caved in while nursing one of his favorite spots to sleep, then I layer him in his car seat to nap.

No rest for me till bed time. I did get the baby to nap for an hour yay. But now it's now second nap time so,I got to keep him awake atlas the till 7pm. I, exhausted and fighting sleep, and my other two don't nap.

@TiarasOceanView yeah, still waiting for the little guy to fall a sleep. But he did nap for me for about an hour while I was babysitting. Hubby is going to put him to be in a few minutes because it's after 10pm

If you have 5 children than he should help you with them and put the little one down for a nap whether he likes it or not and he will go off to sleep.

Eventually he will tire himself out and will fall asleep. Alot of kids fight naps even when they are tired.

Yes I know! He just wanted daddy because his daddy normally puts him to sleep around 10 in the morning.

My son is 2.5 and we occasionally struggle with naps, even sleeping at night. Though at 1, he was only taking 1 nap a day, usually failing and for a few hours.

My 1 year old still takes two naps a day. My 3.5 year old will nap and sometimes out of the blue my 5 year old will nap. Today I wish they all would nap at the same time bit that isn't going to happen. All I can hope for is an easy bed time.
