Jon Heyman of MLB.com reports on Tuesday former Milwaukee Brewers right handed starting pitcher Kyle Lohse, 37, will have a tryout for at least five teams in the Major Leagues in an attempt to pitch in 2016.
Lohse during the 2015 baseball season pitching for the Milwaukee Brewers had a pitching record of five wins and 13 losses with an earned run average of 5.85.
There have not been any teams in the Major Leagues that have knocking down the door to hire Lohse to pitch for the team in 2016 due to his age and his sub par pitching performance in 2015.
Representatives of five teams in the Major Leagues which were not mentioned by Heyman in his report will see if Lohse could be useful to pitch for their team in 2016 or will they offer him a minor league contract to begin the 2016 baseball season in order for Lohse to work off pitching rust.
Lohse has pitched in the Major Leagues since 2001 with the Minnesota Twins, Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals, and Milwaukee Brewers.
Lohse did sign a contract near the end of the Spring training with the Cardinals in 2008 and the Brewers in 2013.
Could he able to make it to a Major League Baseball team for a third time in 2016? The showcase will take on Wednesday in the Phoenix Arizona area according to Heyman.

You would think some pitching desperate team would give him a tryout at least.

Rotoworld is suggesting that the Los Angeles Dodgers should give him a tryout.

@Deepizzaguy The Dodgers are pretty crippled starting staff. I would give him a shot but they won't.
