Yesterday we were in watch mode for 6-10 inches of snow with blizzard like conditions. That has been updated.
We are now in a weather warning. Snowfall totals are going to be between 8-14 inches of heavy wet snow - 40 mph winds - blizzard like conditions. The warning goes from noon tomorrow to 1 PM Thursday with the heaviest snowfall on Wednesday night.
I haven't seen the e-mail yet, but I have a feeling AWANA will be canceled tomorrow night. I know I have no intention of going anywhere at this point.
I just got back a short while ago from taking my son to school and waiting around for him - to save on gas - and the winds are already up and the temps have plummeted. It's COLD out there. The clouds are here and it's ready to start snowing at any time.
That's what it's looking like in my neck of the woods. What is your weather picture looking like?

Nothing to be sorry about. I love snow. It's supposed to be in the 40's again on Friday, so the melt will be on, but I doubt it will be completely gone before Easter. Interesting that we didn't have a White Christmas, but we are having a white Easter.

In the 50 - 60 70's with potential thnderstorms several days this week. Do you want to come down here for a little while? I am sure you are well and ready for spring.

@just4him We really do not get very much in my part of North Carolina. The mountains (obviously) get the most.

@ScribbledAdNauseum North Carolina from everything I've heard about it, and I have a good friend who lives there, is very beautiful. But it gets hot quickly.

I'm almost embarrassed to say that the weather here is supposed to be mild, with high temperatures around 70 and no rain for at least 10 days.

Nice spring-like weather. I love snow, so don't really mind it. I'm definitely not going anywhere, and my younger son doesn't have school tomorrow, and the day off from work, so no reason to go anywhere.

The snow started about an hour ago. So now we'll see how much we're going to get. The heavy snow hasn't started yet, just the light beginning of it.
