If I could only be two places at once.

This is for @DianneN., who was having mixed feelings about leaving Florida and going home. She challenged me to write a poem, so here goes: Dianne, my good friend on myLot Woke up with a terrible thought. "I've been torn in two Now what will I do? Just see what my wishing has brought." "Half of me is standing in sand, And yet there is snow in my hand. To stay or to go I really don't know, Can't we just move the land?" Hope you like it, Dianne.

oh that's a nice poem, it really conveys a torn feeling between two places with an entirely different should i say climate or environment.

That is a good poem and I do feel that same way at times, wanting to be in two places at one time.

Being in one place is boring So I would rather be out and exploring I just could not face Being stuck in one place So the scientists I am imploring Make use of that University degree To build a collapsible wormhole for me Which I can just unravel And then use to travel To those lands far across the sea

Aw...that's cute. :) Sometimes it would be good to be two places at once, though I can also see where there would be a problem...

That's a nice poem. I've never been torn about moving. Once my mind was made up, just had to follow through. Florida, Texas, D.C. My decisions. My moves. No regrets. Hope Dianne becomes untorn.

@AnneEJ - Yes. I become even more extremely content every time I see a homeless person.

Yes, I was going through the same thing. Do I stay or do I go. I was thinking about that when we decided to move to Oregon.

I did and was very surprised! I meant for her to write a poem for her book about being in two places at once, or divided about being in two places. I'm thrilled, none-the-less, and it was very well done. Anne is a great writer and should definitely publish a book. Love her writing!
