Favourite Time Of Year / myLot

So what's your favourite time of year. I prefer the spring as everything is coming back to life . The birds nesting in the hedgerows, the lambs being born and skipping around the fields. Then all those lovely flowers coming through giving the world a bit of colour. Certain parts of Autumn with all those wonderful colours as the leaves change colour. Those crisp , bright mornings. The summer is OK as long as it does not get to hot. Winter could be done away with as it is so cold , miserable and long. So what time of year do you like best and which one do you dislike.?

well, we only have rainy and summer season here, so i choose... the middle? I do love the rain but u hate traveling during it... but too much sun also hurts more

@lady1993 I expect you have to wear a hat and cover in sun tan lotion with a high factor.Maybe cooling down is not such a bad thing then.

I love the fall, the breezes the color all great. I don't like the heat of summer. I do however like the sunshine.

Mine is fall because it is always such a relief to me to get out of the stinking heat of the summer here suzzy.

I understand it gets really hot where you are. It gets into the 80's here but not very often.I could not cope with such heat as you get.

I suppose things cool down a bit in your country. Our winters are minus degrees sometimes. Really cold.

@suzzy3 Days are getting hotter.Looks like a hotter and longer summer is imminent.Temp. in our area is about to touch 40 C.

I like to be in the Goldilocks zone but take extreme weather as a challenge to be faced. I have lived all my life in tropical Asia but then welcome the subtle changes in weather that also produces different varieties of fruits etc - siva

@suzzy3 I was in South India and the weather was very hot and humid - more than usual. That was extreme condition but I went around taking it as a challenge - siva

Well I love Spring because it gets nice enough to be out, but the bugs think so too. I love summer because it means pools and trips, but sometimes the heat is unbearable. Fall is nice because it cools down, but I miss the sun. And winter is great until I get sick of snow lol
