My Goodwill Finds for March 25, 2016

Yesterday I talked one of my good friends into going to the Goodwill with me. We ventured out at 9 this morning and headed out. There is a Goodwill in our town, but wanted to go to the one in the next state. It is not far from where we live so the cost of gas wasn't a worry.
It was nice to catch-up with her. We chatted the along the way and yes, throughout the store while we were shopping.
I found some great buys. A new apple peeler/corer from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. It was priced at $5.99, and was the most expensive item I purchased. This item was new and never used, however, it did not have the box. Excellent buy, when bought new it is $19.99.
The laundry basket was $1.99, I found it in a bin of baskets. Sold!!! I will use it for my yarn and projects that I am currently working on. This will sit next to me near the sofa.
The small purse will be used to bring only the essentials I will need such as my license, a couple of dollars, nail clippers, lip balm, and eyeglasses. I hate carrying my larger purse with me. Have to leave it in the car when before going into a client's home. A smaller purse is easier to conceal. This was only $3.50.
I found the green shirt for $3.50 and the black jeans (for my son) for $3.99.
Great time, great buys, good fun. We are going to do it again soon!
Can't wait for tag sales to start up!
Dusty was keeping guard of my finds.

@TiarasOceanView It was the third item I found that I had to have. The first was the peeler, second the basket.

I was impressed. That is Dusty's favorite place to rest.

@Hatley I nearly bought a few more items, but decided to stick with just what I could "use" and not what I wanted.

I usually go with either my daughter or sister, but neither was available to go with me today.

@amadeo my husband is an avid hunter. He is trying to get me to get my hunting license. Haven't made it to that point yet. Not sure I really want it.

Yes I do. Almost didn't buy the purse, then I remembered my husband just bought a new bow. Sold!

It is small enough to hold my Id and a couple of other items I need.

Now that you mention it, I remember seeing that not long ago. I will have to inquire about it the next time I visit our local store.
