Do you read the comment section first before you respond?

I often respond first. But then I see my response is so similar to others so I have started reading the responses first.

I like to type my thoughts first and then sometimes I will read other comments inputted to the discussion too.

Just like you i comment right away . Sometimes , i also read others' comments after i am done with mine . I would butt in at other's answer specially if they are also my followings .

Sometimes, I read all the comments if the topic is interesting to me.

I would post my comment first, then later, I scroll down to check others' comments as well, like now...

Sometimes I do, and sometimes I don't. I guess it depends on the discussion whether I am interested to know what others responded. Perhaps it's a time to take a break!

i seldom read through all the comments. I may read one or two interesting ones but I do not always do that. i like to respond first before reading, because I do not want to let others affect my thougjhts.

Because there are moments where I don't know what to say exactly, so i admittedly looking for an idea to say it plus my point of view. sometimes even if i don't have to just speak it out.

It actually depends on the discussion in question-sometimes I do, just to see if what I would say has already been covered, then I might have something to add to it or not as the case may be. But sometimes, well, I'm a bit more in the moment and will just write it out, because say it was asking personal opinion on an individual basis-in those circumstances I tend to just give my thoughts as the occasion might be. But you know, sometimes the comments in and of themselves are interesting too and nice to take a look at, if that makes sense?

Most of the time, I comment first before I read other people's comments. But there are times when I read comments before I post mine. That is just to be safe if my comment is really appropriate to the discussion. LOL I might have misunderstood the point of the author. Hihihi

I will sometimes read the comments before I comment. Sometimes I'll read them after I comment. However I don't always read them.

It's a good habit to read comments of others. We learn a lot. But it is not always possible - time constraints.

I type my response straight away, then read the comments before sending mine. That way if someone else has said much the same thing I will alter mine.
