I'm not a sports fan. The only games I watch are those involving the UCONN Huskies. Right now the UCONN Women's basketball team is playing Mississippi, going for their fourth (yes, I said fourth) NCAA national championship in a row. This has never been done before! I have a special fondness for UCONN (University of CT). It is my alma mater and the alma mater of half my family, including my ex-husband. It is also my former employer and the provider of my much-appreciated pension. So, here's to wishing UCONN good luck today. As I'm posting this, the score is UCONN 32, Mississippi 4 and Breanna Stewart is on fire!! Go Huskies!! Half-time update: 61 - 12, Stewart with 18 points so far! Final update: UCONN 98, Mississippi 38. Now on to the Elite Eight!

UCONN is the greatest women's basketball program of all time led by Gino Auriemma.

They are amazing and most of the credit goes to Geno and Chris Dailey for what they've done and what they've required of their players.

UCONN Women's Basketball is a powerhouse. I remember rooting for them back in Rebecca Lobo's heyday.
