This Bud's For You!

Today hubby and I spent the morning getting our raised bed garden ready for planting. How I love this time of year so we can be closer to fresh vegetables. We have summer squash, eggplant and pepper starter plants. But we also have lots of roses which hubby has a green thumb and grows the most gorgeous roses. Yesterday I looked at the rose bushes hoping to find a bud but no luck. But today, the one bush was loaded! This is a picture of one of them and I love how I captured the dew drop on the leaf. I'll be watching it grow and ready to post when in full bloom.

Wish I had more success with roses. I would grow a bunch of bushes.

Hubby has a green thumb when it comes to roses! He also used Miracle Gro hooked up to the hose.

I love roses, except for the thorns. And the dew on the roses makes a wonderful photo.

Yes, I could do without the thorns also Alice! I like to find something interesting along with the main item when I take photos. Glad you liked it!

I liked your story about the veggies, I also am wanting to start my try of avocado plants, maybe then my green thumb will shine!

I too, liked the detail of the rosebud! I like flowers and want to get a chance to plant something this year myself!
